Janhvi Kapoor recently garnered attention with her performance in the black comedy drama Good Luck Jerry, a remake of the Nayanthara-led Kolamaavu Kokila. The film featured her in the role of a seemingly simple girl who gets involved in the drug trade to fund her mother’s cancer treatment. Janhvi is now in the limelight for a sweet reason. In a recent interview, she opened up about her dream to work in South Indian movies and praised Jr NTR.

Janhvi Kapoor, last seen in the horror comedy Roohi, recently returned to our screens with Good Luck Jerry. The film, which premiered on Disney+ Hotstar on July 29, received mixed reviews. Most critics, however, praised the young actress and stated that she has a bright future. The star has now touched upon her future plans. Speaking to Pinkvilla, she said that she hopes to work with Jr NTR in the near future. She added that she is interested in actively pursuing a career in Telugu cinema.

“I am more than open to it. I am really keen on doing a Tollywood Film, or any South film for that matter. Opportunity of working with NTR (Jr NTR) sir would mean so much to me. He is such a legend, but unfortunately, the offer hasn’t come my way yet. I am waiting and I am hoping for the best,” she said.

Janhvi Kapoor, the legendary Sridevi’s daughter, will soon be seen in Mili, a remake of the Malayalam thriller Helen. She is paired opposite Varun Dhawan in Bawaal, which is touted to be a massy action drama. The actress also has Mr And Mrs Mahi, which appears to be a sports drama, in her kitty. Jr NTR, on the other hand, was last seen in SS Rajamouli’s RRR. He is set to collaborate with Koratala Siva for NTR 30. He also has a film with Prashanth Neel, who directed Yash in the KGF film franchise, in his kitty.
